What actually is sinus? Sinus is also called Sinusitis; it is a
kind of headache or pressure in nose, eyes or in head or also in cheek
areas too. The one who is suffering with this infection may also
suffer from cough and cold, bad breath or fever too. It can pain on
the inner side of the eye or may create a pressure around the nose or
even headache can be caused. Fever is very common symptom of sinus
infection. Sinus are air cavities in our cranial bones those are
around nose especially.
Whenever you wake up in the morning and feel very tired & lazy and
you want to sleep all the day, then you think of that you have catch
cold and you take those medicines, which do not help you, then sure it
is not cold, it is sinusitis. It creates a type of swelling because of
bacteria within the cavities due to sinus and when sometimes drainage
is blocked due to certain swelling by the bacteria then it might cause
a severe headache. A sinus spray, which helps to kill severe bacteria
and microbes that causes sinus and thus give us different types of
infections are mainly removing sinus.
The major parts of sinus are, Ethnocide sinuses-these are present
around the eyes either between the eyes or near the tear ducts. It may
cause a type of swelling on the eyelids and it may cause pain also
between your eyes. Maxillary sinuses-this type of infection causes a
type of pain on the teeth and upper jaw. When we touch our teeth, it
may feel like paining some time. Frontal sinuses-in this whenever our
forehead gets touched a little pain may be felt and also the eyes
become sensitive to light also. Sphenoid sinuses-these types of ache
or infection are not common and may cause a deep pain in the head also
it may cause pain near the neck or ear also.
General symptoms of sinus infection- cold, running nose, swelling,
headache, voice hoarseness, fever, sore throat, weakness, pain in jaws
and swelling between eyes or cheeks. Infection of sinus is very common
between adults and children and is most common when we are having
regular nasal problems. One of the main symptoms of sinus infection is
its drainage that may change from clear to green and sometimes it may
be bloody too.
There are some main symptoms of sinus infection other than the
general sinus symptoms, which are followed by ache in the exaggerated
area. These symptoms are Sphenoid sinuses infection takes place in
neck, head and ear and also results in severe pin at infected areas.
Frontal sinus results in more complications than the others like the
person's eyes found more sensitive to light and also the severe
head-ache in the head when it touched. Ethmoid sinus results in
tenderness near the nose and in eyes. Eyelids are swelled with
tremendous pain in it. Thus, to choose better treatment, one should
first diagnose the symptoms of sinus infection by specialists.
